The New Interactive Floor For Dancing

As more and more technology integrates itself into our everyday lives, people are always searching for the new, most inventive technological advancement on the market. In the world of dance, that advancement is the interactive dance floor.

Interactive dance floors are a relatively new invention, having only been around and commercially available for the last few years. They are floors which are lit from underneath a thick, durable sheet of Plexiglas by thousands of LED lights which can provide you with hundreds of different color combinations to light up a floating logo or company name for a special event. Interactive floors are typically used in dance clubs and for special company presentations or parties. They come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, designed to be custom fit to any room or occasion.

Most of these floors are also designed with convenience in mind, as they come apart in sections and can be moved fairly easily. As the floors are extremely expensive, this is a great asset for the floor as most people who use them are able to rent them from a company which will come on site of your event, put the floor together, and program it to reflect whatever graphics or color patterns you wish to see.

The interactive dance floors can be purchased as a rental for an evening or as a permanent fixture for your dance night club. As a result, they can be custom made to fit whatever specifications that you may have for the floor. The dance floor can be programmed via a computer and then reprogrammed as many times as you like in order to reflect whatever you wish for your guests to see.

The fun part about an interactive floor is that anything can be shown, literally right under your feet, just as if the floor was a large television or computer screen. The sky truly is the limit with the possibilities on what your floor shows, whether you decide to put on a graphics display, show a photographic slide show, or display an entire movie. The floor can also be reprogrammed as it is being used, if for instance you would like for the floor to reflect the names of your guests as they come in or if you are having a themed party, take it from daylight colors to dusk and then night time, all while your guests are enjoying themselves on the floor.

Like many other LED panels, the floor is made up of several different sections of panels that all attach to each other and work together to provide one unified surface. The panels can be taken apart to allow for easy storage or transportation of the floor. For someone who wants a custom floor, the floor can be made in many different shapes and sizes to not only accommodate your area, but also your imagination.
